We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you fill out our contact or quote request form, email us, or do business with us:

• Contact information — such as your name, company name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Shipment information — such as pickup and delivery locations, dates, freight descriptions, weights, and reference numbers.
• Communications — the content of messages you send us and records of your communication preferences, including your SMS opt-in and opt-out status.

When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.

• Schedule, dispatch, and complete freight shipments;

3. Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number and check the consent box(es) on our Website form, or otherwise expressly agree to receive text messages from us, Rick's Freight LLC may send you text messages at that number.

• Types of messages: transactional messages (quote follow-ups, load and shipment status updates, dispatch notifications, delivery confirmations, appointment reminders, and customer support) and, only if you separately opt in, marketing messages (service announcements, available capacity, and offers).
• Message frequency varies. Marketing messages are limited to up to 4 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving our services.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, email delivery, form processing, and messaging platforms — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us. As stated above, this never includes sharing mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data for their own marketing purposes.
• Shipment parties, such as shippers, consignees, and brokers involved in a specific load, to the extent necessary to complete that shipment.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rick's Freight LLC, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, and may use basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
